WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an experienced and strategic individual contributor to fill the role of Lead, Portfolio Governance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in portfolio management, governance, and stakeholder management, with a proven track record of driving accountability, enabling faster decision making, and coordinating the needs of multiple stakeholders in a complex and dynamic environment. A successful candidate will be a collaborative and influential leader who can work effectively with various teams to maintain and improve a robust governance operating model.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As the Operations Portfolio Governance Lead, you will drive portfolio excellence by maintaining and improving the portfolio operating model, leading cross-functional governance forums, and delivering consolidated reporting and insights that inform strategic decision making. Through your expertise and collaborative approach, you will foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement, while partnering with key stakeholders in Central Operations and beyond to optimize program management and delivery within the Operations portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and continuously improve the existing portfolio governance framework to ensure it remains effective and aligned with organizational objectives
  • Deliver consolidated reporting and compelling insights that inform strategic decision making, identifying areas of improvement and developing recommendations for process enhancements
  • Collaborate with key partners across the organization to integrate portfolio and program governance needs from multiple cross-functional teams into a single operating and governance model, ensuring alignment and driving effective decision making
  • Create compelling materials that effectively articulate progress and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement through effective stakeholder management

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As a key member of Central Operations within the organization, you will collaborate with a diverse set of partners and stakeholders, including Functional Operations Teams (Footwear, Apparel, Design, Merchandising), Technology partners, and other Central Operations teams (Program Management, Change Management, and Learning & Development). Together, you’ll drive strategic alignment, transparency, and decision-making across the organization, playing a critical role in shaping the future of our client.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio management, governance, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, portfolio management, and stakeholder management
  • Proven track record of driving accountability, enabling faster decision making, and realizing value in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas of improvement and develop recommendations for process enhancements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $62.10 to $69.01 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
