Our well known Financial Services Client is searching for a talented Sales Professional to join thier team!
Salary Range – $70K – 100K per year base salary. Plus performance based bonuses. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
Job Overview:
Our client is focused on growing B2B spend in ecommerce. They have requested a role dedicated to originating new business opportunities within existing key client relationships. The individual will develop a variety of approaches to succeed in meeting an annual “wins” goal across B2B ecommerce verticals, whilst also providing consultative support, in depth insight and industry contacts to Sales leads to drive success with prospect names within ecommerce verticals.
Online Sales:
1. Travel Aggregators – not limited to MWP, where VCNs are used to procure travel inventory (e.g. HotelBeds, Kiwi)
2. Online Marketplaces – same flow as travel aggregators but for non-travel inventory (e.g. Wayfair, Zalando – includes also some shipping/storage/custom related spend opportunities)
Digital Economy:
1. Fintech Payments – payment on behalf flow, largely cross border (e.g. PingPong, Flywire)
2. Gigs & Disbursements – dominantly based on mVCA, to allow disbursements via mobile devices (e.g. Insurance, Healthcare, Loyalty, OnDemandServices)
3. Digitized Sales – large B&M players purchasing online advertisement to diversify through ecommerce (e.g. TikTok, Meta, google ad flows)
Objective Function – Prove investment in E-Commerce sales verticals will yield GDV
Term – 12 month contract
Role Responsibilities:
- This role will report to the Head of Commercial Card Sales in NYC
- This role is a hybrid Sales/Account Management role providing an opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to (a) apply their skills to a portfolio of existing Clients to grow our client’s share of wallet and (b) work with thier Sales team to originate new business
- Co-develop with B2B sales lead a growth strategy focused on revenue growth and customer needs
- Achieve qualitative (volume and revenue) on a yearly basis through the SIP process.
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Responsible for the interaction with key internal stakeholders at and external partners.
- Responsible for managing the pricing negotiations with Clients ensuring realistic returns for the firm whilst remaining competitive, execution of contracts, project documents and assisting in the implementation discussions of products with customers
- Attend both virtual and in-person meetings and business reviews with the partners, assist with meeting preparation and organization of meeting locations
- Represent our client at industry events, including but not limited to public speaking and presentations of products and solutions to drive brand awareness in B2B space
- Prepare training document for Sales and Account Management staff – to equip the team with Industry insights, client objectives, objection handling and competitive positioning
Competencies:
- Advanced e-commerce payments knowledge, that align to the Online Sales and Digital verticals above
- Ability to plan and execute against strategic objectives
