About Marketing Operations
Marketing Operations within our organization is a growing team responsible for Marketing Ways of Working, Process Mapping, Tools, Budget & Headcount, and Creative Operations. Our scope spans all cross-functional teams within marketing and related departments. We’re typically the first team asked to drive clarity, map out roles and responsibilities, and establish streamlined processes across the Marketing organization.
Job Overview
As the Marketing Operations Associate, you will provide critical support to the Marketing Operations Sr. Manager on Growth P1 projects. You’ll ensure team operations, project management, and general support are provided across the Marketing Team.
You will work closely with Client Solutions, Brand Marketing, and Growth Marketing teams, partnering with Directors and Sr. Managers to support team operations, P1 project management, and ensure established processes are followed. This full-time contractor role is based in our San Bruno office 5 days per week.
Core Responsibilities
- Support the MOPS Sr. Manager in wide scope project management
- Own note taking and action planning feedback for meetings
- Develop and communicate solutions to improve efficiencies in team operations
- Gather facts and understand Ways of Working across the organization
- Gather learnings from pilots and iterate on processes in an agile model
- Partner closely with stakeholders in client solution and omni teams to streamline ways of working
- Ensure teams are maximizing the potential of new project management tools
- Support other general team administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Agency background required, preferably with B2B experience with a large company
- Minimum 5+ years experience in project management, team operations, and process mapping within a marketing organization
- Experience with Workfront is required
- Experience in change management
- Skilled at building PowerPoint presentations
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized in thought and execution
- Ability to set and communicate clear expectations
- Ability to understand and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively and achieve results in ambiguous situations
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about process and developing ways of working in an agile model
- Experienced with managing complex timelines involving multiple stakeholders
- High emotional intelligence and ability to “read the room/zoom”
- Previous experience project managing marketing campaigns with understanding of milestones while seeing the bigger picture of how timelines and processes intersect
- Email marketing and brand marketing project management experience a plus
Position Details
- Location: San Bruno office (5 days/week, no hybrid option)
- Hours: 40 hours per week, no expected overtime
- Assignment Duration: Initial 13 weeks with potential for extension
- Team Structure: You will join a team consisting of two Senior Managers, two Managers, and one other Contractor

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $41to $46 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
