Our client, a pet care retailer, is seeking a Senior Creative Manager (more of a Account Manager) to join our Creative Operations Team. Our Creative Managers foster best-in-class creative outcomes that deliver on our internal partner’s business objectives. They understand what strong relationships require and the best practices for growing them while delivering an exceptional level of customer service.
In this role, you will oversee creative planning and execution for highly complex brand & marketing campaigns, that require strong strategic support & cross-functional leadership. You will partner with Creative Leaders to develop creative strategies and solutions for our clients’ business challenges. You will define client engagements for complex cross-functional programs, juggling multiple projects from start to finish. A passion for pets and culturally defining consumer brands is a must.
***PLEASE NOTE: This role is fully remote but if the role has an option to convert, the requirement would be to go onsite 2 days a week in one of the hub locations – Boston, Plantation, FL, Bellevue, SEA or Minneapolis**
CALL OUTS:
-This role is similar to Agency Account Management, Account Manager, Account Director.
-We are looking for experience with integrated campaigns, with a focus on video.
-This person will lead creative strategy and planning for full-funnel campaigns, with healthy media buys behind TV, OTT/CTV, and OLV (YT & Meta) and production budgets (photo and video).
-You must be well verse in creative process (strategy, briefs, creative reviews, feedback management)
-Ideally a agency background or a creative marketing at a Fortune 500 background
-Must have strong written, verbal and presentation skills. Will be leadership and external partner facing.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with brand, marketing and channel leads as they develop their roadmaps and manage the creative pipeline/forecast for your account.
- Oversee creative planning and execution for cross-functional, multi-disciplinary programs and/or campaigns, with support of a highly engaged Project Manager, conducting postmortems as needed.
- Partner with Business and Marketing teams as they develop their briefs, serving as the voice of Creative, ensuring adherence with creative process and best practices for all media.
- Intake all creative briefs, ensuring creative requirements, specs and best practices are captured.
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey and help identify creative opportunities to better acquire, activate and retain target audiences.
- Collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters and Studio on the work, serving as the voice of the customer and business throughout the process.
- Be the expert on how creative performance will be measured and what success looks like for every engagement.
- Build and foster relationships with both internal and external teams, ensuring alignment and acting as the liaison between stakeholders and creative service teams
- Lead Creative Reviews, driving alignment and next steps across Marketing, Merchandising, Product, Brand, and Creative. Synthesize all feedback and ensure clarity for creative.
- Present to senior-level clients and evoke trust and credibility through strategic thinking and communication style. Capture, communicate and action feedback to creative teams.
- Lead internal and external status meetings; forecast, track and report on project health. Advise on risks, issues and tradeoffs to achieve launch.
- Be an ambassador for Creative Services in presentations and strategy discussions, instill a passion for collaboration, teamwork and inspiration.
- Manage, motivate, and/or mentor teams.
- Forecast, track and report on client programs and provide key insights to Senior Leadership to inform business operations and strategic planning.
What You’ll Need:
- 7+ years experience within an agency or marketing department setting, managing creative teams/outside creative resources and interfacing directly with senior-level client contacts
- BIG NICE TO HAVE: Experience coming from big agencies (example: Ogilvy, Wieden+Kennedy, TBWA and more)
- A deep working knowledge of multi-channel marketing tactics, with an emphasis on digital (TV/OTT, PR, Site, Email, Social, Paid Media, Direct Mail and Mobile/SMS).
- Experience in Workfront, Smartsheet and/or Figma is a bonus.
- eCommerce and/or Retail account management experience required
- Deep knowledge and experience in defining and executing a wide variety of marketing programs, processes, and best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced creative environment, while working closely with multiple departments and leaders at all levels.

- Effective and results driven management of design and creative processes, ensuring that the team provides both high-quality and cost-effective deliverables while upholding the client’s brand standards and acting as a brand steward.
- Less than 10 % travel
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $56 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
