Job Summary:
The Senior Project Manager manages all business implementation aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of processes, situations and/or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, designs and communication; implements an operational plan for completing the project; monitors progress and performance against the project plan; takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
Responsibilities:
- This position will require candidates to handle multiple tasks and potentially move from project to project.
- Responsibilities may vary therefore there must be flexibility in this position.
- Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete the project.
- Prepares designs and work specifications; develop and drives project schedules, manages RAID items, works with stakeholders to drive requirements, and ensures timely completion.
- Communicates with other operational areas in the organization to drive the work for the project. Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project. Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones.
- Begins to influence department’s strategy.
- Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Experience:
- Seeking candidates with cross-functional program management experience.
- Candidates with Medicaid and/or Medicare experience highly desired.
- Healthcare industry experience is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 or more years of Medicaid and/or Medicare experience.
- 4 or more years of project leadership experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48.18 to $53.54 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
