As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and executing a diverse portfolio of IT projects. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, manage resources effectively, and navigate complex technical landscapes to achieve strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of assigned IT projects, from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage project execution, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to project team members, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor project performance against established metrics and report progress to upper management.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve project roadblocks and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in IT project management.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and software development lifecycles.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $83 to $92 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
