Job Overview:
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a large-scale ERP implementation within a global organization. You will be instrumental in validating, cleansing, and mapping financial data, ensuring a seamless transition to the new platform. This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working with large datasets.
Responsibilities:
- Validate data for migration to the new ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform data cleansing, mapping, and validation to align accounting systems with the ERP platform.
- Analyze financial data related to intercompany activity between key segments.
- Provide ongoing ad hoc support for various ERP implementation initiatives.
- Perform accounting duties as needed to support incremental activities during transition periods.
- Assist with month-end closing activities as needed.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas).
- Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task, and prioritize.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working with large amounts of data.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft and Oracle Cloud preferred).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience working with a global team.
- Strong writing skills for developing SOPs.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $36.25 to $40.28 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
