About the Role
As a Writer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of video educational content creation, from initial concept to final delivery. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in video production workflows, coupled with your exceptional writing and project management skills, will be essential to the success of this team.

Responsibilities:

  • Write, create, deliver, and manage video educational content.
  • Contribute to the planning process of video content.
  • Determine the appropriate presentation format, style, and design, ensuring content accuracy.
  • Collaborate with and help manage third-party content providers.
  • Provide guidance throughout the content creation process, from conception to completion, including feedback on format, narrative, visuals, voice, and copy editing.
  • Write support and educational scripts for various products.
  • Manage all stages of video production projects, including pre-production planning, on-set production, post-production, and delivery.
  • Develop and manage project timelines and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Manage post-production workflows, including editing, color correction, sound design, and visual effects.
  • Ensure all video content meets quality standards, brand guidelines, and legal requirements.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Television Production, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in video production management, preferably within a fast-paced media or technology environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to write, understand, and interpret video scripts related to complex technical products and features.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex video projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of video production, including pre-production, production, and post-production workflows.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
