The Business Analyst works with the Product Owner and Product Manager to assess feature value, business requirements, and IT documentation required to start the SDLC of new product enhancements. The Business Analyst work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The Business Analyst devises measures and targets to assess and optimize the performance of IT functions, services, projects and any related improvement initiative. Identifies and analyzes performance measures and metrics, develops and maintains balanced scorecards and dashboards, and evaluates and monitors performance in IT-related areas. May include work related to gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, work closely with development and product team to write/grom user stories, conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions for business processes, provide testing support to Product and Development team. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 3-5 years of technical experience
- Experience in problem analysis and process documentation
- Experience with Microsoft office suite
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience analyzing and presenting complex data
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving ability
- Six Sigma Certified
- Salesforce Experience or Admin certification
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $33 to $37 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
