iOS App Developer/Consultant

Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled iOS App Developer to assist with resolving deployment issues for their proprietary business card app and setting up the application on multiple employee devices. This role requires deep expertise in both frontend and backend development, along with experience deploying ad-hoc iOS apps via Xcode (outside the Apple App Store).

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve Xcode deployment issues related to Apple Developer credentials.

• Ensure successful installation of our client’s app on 2-3 employee devices.

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot web and mobile applications using Agile development methodologies.

• Implement best practices in CI/CD, TDD/BDD, and pair programming to improve development efficiency.

• Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Firebase to optimize backend infrastructure.

• Design scalable and efficient system architectures that align with business requirements.

Technical Skills Required:

• Programming Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, PHP, C, C++, C#

• Frontend Technologies: React.js, Vue.js, Angular, HTML, CSS

• Backend & Frameworks: Node.js, Laravel 9, PostgreSQL, SQL

• Mobile Development: iOS (Xcode), Android

• DevOps & Cloud Services: AWS, Azure, Firebase, Docker, CI/CD, Git

• Testing & Development Practices: Jest, TDD, BDD

• Additional Expertise: WebGPU, Web Architecture, SaaS, System Requirements, Prioritizing Projects

Qualifications:

• Proven experience deploying ad-hoc iOS applications through Xcode.

• Strong troubleshooting skills in Apple Developer provisioning, certificates, and device management.

• Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices in software development.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65/hr to $75/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
