Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure & Terraform

As a Senior Cloud Engineer specializing in Azure and Terraform, you will be a key contributor to the design, automation, and management of our Azure cloud infrastructure. You will leverage your deep expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles using Terraform to build and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments. Collaborating closely with DevOps and SRE teams, you will integrate infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and commitment to continuous improvement will be essential to optimizing cloud infrastructure performance and security.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and manage Terraform modules and scripts to automate provisioning and configuration across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to integrate infrastructure automation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and security.
• Contribute to and maintain code repositories using Git for version control.
• Document processes and contribute to best practices for cloud automation and operations.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including advanced configuration and security best practices.
• Proven expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
• Solid background in SRE, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles with a focus on automation.
• Strong experience with Git for code versioning and collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication within cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with Ansible AWX for configuration management and orchestration.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $57.27 to $63.64 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
