As a Vendor Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing data architectures and automated data flows. You will work with diverse data sources, ensuring data privacy compliance while building and maintaining complex data visualizations. Collaborating with internal and external teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping data strategies and contributing to the success of cutting-edge gaming products.
Responsibilities:
- Implement comprehensive data architectures, including appropriate data schemas and components for consuming data from various sources.
- Design and implement automated data flows for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Optimize data aggregations while adhering to data privacy policies.
- Create robust technical documentation, data schemas, and real-time data telemetry specifications.
- Develop and maintain complex data visualizations.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
- Develop requirements, draft high-level design documents, and present designs to stakeholders.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, analysis, and business intelligence.
- Proven experience with Azure Data Explorer (KQL).
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory.
- Experience building complex data visualizations with real data.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and work both independently and collaboratively.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with C#.
- Experience in the gaming industry.
- Experience handling gaming data.
- Experience working with Azure data and ETL products.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40/hr – $45/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
