As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the platform that fuels our data science and AI/ML initiatives. You’ll contribute to solutions for infrastructure, automation, access control, networking, data integrations, model refresh, A/B testing, and observability, utilizing technologies like Terraform. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact team and shape the future of our AI/ML capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain infrastructure and automation solutions for data scientists and AI/ML engineers.
• Implement and enhance access control, networking, and data integration processes.
• Contribute to solutions for model refresh, A/B testing, and observability.
• Utilize Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI/ML engineers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the platform.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5+ years of directly relevant work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Golang.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices, particularly Terraform.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Experience developing and using microservices.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts (ML Serving, ML Training, Generative AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Databases, A/B Testing, Model Experimentation).
• Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kubernetes, Sagemaker).
• Experience with the Databricks ecosystem.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $55.19 to $61.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
