We are seeking an experienced, subscription lifecycle marketer with a passion for media/entertainment to help grow its services. The Growth Marketing Strategist will work with a wide variety of functional teams across our organization, including engineering, product, operations, data analytics, and design. They will be responsible for creating programs that connect with customers in a privacy friendly way to drive engagement and make sure they are getting the most out of their subscription service. DESCRIPTION
Develop and optimize engagement/retention strategies. Optimize programs through A/B testing, offering idea6on and development of strategic recommendations based on data driven insights and strategies to engage with customers. Build cross-functional relationships and plans to
improve performance against meaningful metrics, with a focus on experimentation and optimization. Collaborate with a broad range of teams, including international marketing, product, engineering, analytics and design teams. Develop a process of continuous improvement, where the results of this work are analyzed and insights are fed back into the plans. Define geo-specific narratives, value propositions and service educational messaging.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Analytical problem solver with a track record of success in developing and optimizing marketing strategies and programs that drive customer engagement and retention.
- Thorough understanding of integrating product, design, business, marketing, engineering and stakeholder teams to clarify program goals, strategy, and execution.
- Outstanding cross functional team working skills with an ability to collaborate closely with other teams to solve problems and implement programs that achieve core business objectives.
- Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills; ability to develop strong working partnerships.
- Ability to work collaboratively under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects.
- Strong project management capability with exceptional attention to detail.
- Possess deep understanding of A/B testing and data driven optimization marketing
- Shown ability to meet deadlines and get consensus while balancing many projects and priorities.
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate a strong point of view clearly and succinctly to both senior executives and individual contributors.
EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years experience in digital marketing, demonstrating success in achieving growth goals in user engagement and retention.
- Experience leading lifecycle marketing programs, ideally for a media platform or a consumer subscription business.
- Experience testing and optimizing marketing channels including push notification, online, email and in-app messaging marketing tactics.
EDUCATION
- BA/BS, MS/MA/MBA preferred
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54.12 to $60.14 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
