Copywriter (Credits Writer/Editor)

Overview

Our global technology client is looking for a credits writer/editor. This is a hybrid position in NY, NY and you Must be able to go into the office. The ideal candidate will be able to edit high volume content and adhere to a style guide. Must be detail oriented. 

As a Credits Writer/Editor, you will:

• Edit high-volume, detail-oriented credits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to style guides.
• Fact-check information and manage projects to maintain data integrity.
• Meticulously review formatting and consistency to uphold the highest standards of quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless credit integration across various platforms.
• Leverage your strong grammar and English language proficiency to refine and polish credit information.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment with your proactive attitude and willingness to support team efforts.

Must-Have Qualifications:

•  MUST have 2-3 years of professional writing/editing experience in journalism, publishing, or marketing.
• Proven experience adhering to style guides and maintaining consistency.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to formatting.
• Hands-on experience editing high-volume, detail-oriented work (credits, catalog/magazine, information sources, etc.).
• Fact-checking and project management skills.
• Strong bias for action, patience with revisions, and a professional and collaborative attitude.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $47 to $52 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
