Outreach Support Specialist
As an Outreach Support Specialist, you will be a key player in enhancing the member experience. You will process new membership applications, handle service requests, and facilitate onboarding, ensuring a positive first impression for new members. Your analytical skills will be essential in resolving account discrepancies, while your commitment to member satisfaction will drive your daily interactions. This role offers a unique blend of member service and administrative tasks, allowing you to contribute to both the operational efficiency and member satisfaction of the organization. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, research, and resolve complex member account problems and discrepancies.
- Advise members on products, services, and access channels.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and enhance product penetration.
- Perform complex banking functions.
- Provide exceptional phone support to members.
- Ensure compliance with relevant federal and other regulations.
- Process new membership applications and related procedures.
- Assist members with opening and closing accounts (excluding lending products).
- Maintain a high level of commitment to organizational success and member satisfaction.
- Work independently in a focused environment.
- Identify and report potential fraud and financial abuse.
- Maintain current knowledge of and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and security protocols.
- Perform ad hoc reviews and other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in member service or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in navigating banking systems and platforms.
- Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to providing exceptional member service.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with new member onboarding processes.
- Knowledge of fraud detection and prevention.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $32.24 to $35.83 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
