Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a Product Manager in Richfield, OH!

This is a hybrid position and it will be expected that you can work on site 3 days/week.  For this reason, we will only consider candidates who live in the Richfield, OH metropolitan area.  Relocation (whether assisted or on your own) is not permitted for this role.

In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment

Position Summary:

The role of the Product Owner is a pivotal one that is expected to be aware of industry trends, clients’ needs (including internal clients), and the fundamentals of software solutions. In addition, you are expected to have a good grasp of business operations and processes that impact your product. As a Product Owner, you will convert your understanding of the marketplace, client needs, and operations into product requirements (user stories) for the Scrum team(s) in support of meeting business objectives. You will champion your product(s) and lead cross-functional initiatives within a matrixed organization. This role will have a strong focus on the back-end automation of existing business processes, but there may be a front-end element as well depending on business priorities and specific initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision & Execution: Translate product vision and roadmaps into actionable user stories and priorities for Scrum teams.
  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis:  Gather and synthesize information from multiple sources to identify trends and actionable conclusions.
  • Solution Conceptualization:  Conceptualize innovative solutions leveraging current technologies, industry trends, and client needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams to achieve product goals.
  • Communication & Leadership: Exhibit strong communication, listening, and servant leadership skills, fostering transparency and trust within the team.
  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities and effectively resolve conflicts.

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

  • Retirement Industry Expertise:  Deep knowledge of the retirement industry and related business operations.
  • Agile Proficiency: Thorough understanding of Scrum and Agile principles, including user story writing, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
  • Technical Understanding: Strong grasp of software development and technology and proficiency with Jira/Rally.
  • Desired Qualifications:
    • Prior retirement business experience.
    • Scrum Product Owner certification.
    • Scaled Agile framework experience.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $51.00 to $56.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
