Client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Knowledge Management Project Lead to join their team in San Antonio, TX. This role will be instrumental in driving key initiatives within their Knowledge Management department, supporting their frontline associates and shared service departments. You will primarily focus on project management, ensuring the successful execution of critical projects related to content updates, process improvements, and data strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management (70%):
    • Lead and manage projects related to content updates in the internal system (built on AEM), process standardization, data strategy, and website enhancements.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and communication materials for senior business leaders.
    • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment among stakeholders.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Content Impact Assessment:
    • Attend project meetings with IT and business teams to assess the impact of changes on existing content within the system.
    • Determine necessary content updates and collaborate with channel coordinators and writers to implement changes.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting (10%):
    • Review and analyze internal KM data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Contribute to the development of a stronger data strategy.
  • Process Improvement (10%):
    • Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize knowledge management workflows.
    • Potentially design and develop solutions to address identified opportunities.
  • Content Review (10%):
    • Assist in content review, and delegate work to writers as needed.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including writers, editors, business analysts, and IT.
    • Document internal business process changes and contribute to training materials.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Proven experience in a professional work environment, demonstrating the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong understanding of knowledge management principles and practices.
  • Experience with knowledge management systems (AEM preferred).
  • Proficiency in Workfront (work management tool).
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Tableau, Visio, and Alteryx.
  • Experience with mature knowledge management programs.
  • Experience with AI.
  • Experience maturing organizational processes.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $43.11 to $47.91 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
