Job Summary

The Growth Marketing Operations Team plays a critical role in enabling on-device communications and automated messaging for our media products and services across 16 different lines of business including TV+, Music, Arcade, Fitness+, App Store, and Wallet. We focus on the timely delivery, strategy, and execution of in-app messaging sent to millions of users.

As a Marketing Operations Program Specialist, you’ll act as the technical bridge between campaign builders and engineering teams when issues arise in our marketing communication systems. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, coordinating resolution, and driving process improvements to enhance system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incident response for marketing operations issues, prioritizing based on severity and business impact
  • Project manage resolution efforts across multiple engineering teams when campaign delivery is interrupted
  • Troubleshoot technical issues within our proprietary CRM and marketing automation infrastructure
  • Create detailed technical documentation capturing incident symptoms, root causes, business impacts, and resolutions
  • Support weekly and monthly review meetings on issues and improvement areas
  • Drive process optimization initiatives to improve communication between teams
  • Develop automation strategies to enhance system reliability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from marketing operations, product, and engineering teams

Required Qualifications

  • Deep technical knowledge of marketing CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of software development concepts and infrastructure architecture
  • Experience with process optimization, issue escalation, and cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Excellent technical and people problem-solving skills with ability to structure problems into actionable plans
  • Experience working with engineering, product, and marketing operations teams
  • Strong technical communication skills and ability to influence without direct authority
  • Experience creating technical documentation and post-mortems
  • Track record of driving solutions in ambiguous and constantly changing environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Project Management, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background as an Engineering Program Manager or similar technical role
  • Experience with SAAS/enterprise software systems
  • Hands-on experience with CRM campaign building or marketing operations
  • Experience supporting subscription-based digital services at scale
  • Understanding of customer journey orchestration and marketing automation
  • Ability to understand technical infrastructure from back-end to user interface
  • Experience with machine learning/AI applications in marketing (a plus)

You should be a self-starter who can navigate ambiguity, drive process improvements, and collaborate effectively across multiple teams to resolve critical issues impacting user experience.

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $81 to $90 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
