We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on .NET Developer to join our client, a leading financial services firm known for providing innovative financial solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying highly scalable and maintainable micro-services and server-side applications. As a key member of our technical team, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that applications meet high-quality standards, from design to delivery. Responsibilities:
Technical & Delivery
- Own the development of components from design to deployment, ensuring that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate within an agile team, providing estimates and status updates in partnership with the Product Manager and other developers.
- Prototype and validate technical solutions to meet business requirements.
- Contribute effectively to coding, design, and architecture reviews.
- Ensure synchronization of deliverables across onshore and offshore teams for successful product releases.
Development Excellence
- Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications using C# and .NET frameworks.
- Lead the design and development of REST and SOAP-based Web Service APIs in a transaction-heavy environment.
- Manage database development for adding new CRUD operations and optimizing query implementation.
- Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies to achieve high software quality standards.
- Contribute to performance engineering, CI/CD improvements, and application reliability.
Process Improvement
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks early through careful planning.
- Support Release Managers in improving deployment processes.
- Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to implement Chaos Engineering and improve Observability in your project.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience:
- 10+ years of software development experience with a proven track record in building enterprise-level applications.
- 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying high-scale application systems.
Core Technical Skills:
- C#/.NET Development: Proficient in developing APIs (REST/SOAP).
- MongoDB Development: Expert-level experience in database development and optimization.
- Authentication and Authorization Solutions: Hands-on experience in implementing secure solutions.
- Test Automation: Strong understanding and experience with unit testing, functional testing, and integration testing tools.
- Logging & Monitoring: Familiarity with tools like Splunk or BigQuery for analysis and debugging.
Additional Skills:
- Strong experience with CI/CD processes.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with performance engineering and optimizing application scalability.
- Prior experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $62.10 to $69.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
