We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Communications Operations to support our client’s student engagement initiatives. This role will focus on developing and enhancing marketing automation systems and integrating data to optimize communications with current active students enrolled in degree programs. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with Eloqua and Salesforce, including data architecture, integrations, and automation efforts. This role will contribute significantly to the transition from manual to automated campaign executions while ensuring data quality, documentation, and stakeholder alignment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the systems administrator for several Eloqua instances, ensuring smooth operations and integration.
- Create and maintain data documentation for Eloqua, ensuring it aligns with business processes and campaign requirements.
- Manage and expand the integration between Eloqua, Salesforce, and other third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Assist in transitioning manual campaign executions to automated processes, including documentation, data review, and QA testing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute an automation project roadmap for student communications.
- Support the transfer of assets from Marketo to Eloqua, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
- Regularly attend and contribute to meetings, offering insights for ideation and campaign planning.
- Actively participate in the management of projects within ADO (MS Azure DevOps), collaborating with internal data and integration teams, including managing feature updates.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in related positions, with a preference for experience working with third-party agencies.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms, specifically Eloqua and Salesforce (Eloqua implementation certificate preferred).
- Strong understanding of SQL databases and database architecture.
- Ability to leverage data to create detailed customer segments for targeted campaigns.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and the ability to work within Agile teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational, logistical, and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- This position is remote, with candidates expected to be available during EST or CST working hours.
- This role offers a contract duration until the end of June, with potential for extension based on business needs and performance.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $70 – $75 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
