We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager with extensive knowledge of UltiPro and Dayforce payroll systems. The ideal candidate will work with staff to oversee the payroll processing function, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing: Manage and execute accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees across multiple locations and jurisdictions.

Systems Expertise: Utilize UltiPro payroll systems to streamline processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system optimization.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax filings, reporting requirements, and wage laws.

Auditing and Reporting: Conduct regular payroll audits to verify accuracy, identify discrepancies, and maintain data integrity. Generate detailed payroll reports for leadership and other stakeholders as needed.

Employee Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and address employee concerns professionally and efficiently.

Vendor Management: Liaise with payroll software providers and third-party vendors to ensure smooth system integrations and updates.

Training and Leadership: Mentor payroll team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Implementation – assist with the implementation to Dayforce HRIS system, including demos, configuration, best practices, and testing
Qualifications
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of payroll management experience, with a proven track record of success.

Advanced knowledge of UltiPro and Dayforce payroll systems.

Comprehensive understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.

Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Advanced user of Excel and Google Suite

Experience with multi-state payroll processing

Familiarity with general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes

Knowledge of 401(k) and Fidelity platform, including new Secure 2.0 rules
Preferred:
-
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.

International payroll processing
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $ 52 – $56 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
