Our client is looking for an experienced Marketing Project Manager with a minimum of 5-7 years of project management and account management experience, actively managing marketing and advertising projects. The candidate’s experience should directly involve interfacing with clients, agency partners, internal stakeholders and cross collaborative efforts. Experience working on and managing the status of project related information to report out to our business teams. Experience managing and tracking budgets is a MUST.
The candidate should also be adaptive to ever-changing business/project priorities.
The preference is for this candidate to come with multichannel marketing and automotive experience, agency experience and budget management.
PMI or PMP Training or certification would be a plus.
This position will report into the Asst Marketing Manager and work closely with business teams.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the project schedules for every campaign and project in the queue.
- Project manage the activities of agency resources in line with business objectives of new products coming to market.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of critical path products and services.
- Establish and maintain quality metrics and guidelines.
- Implement process and system improvements including integration with other functional areas.
- Manage and track budgets for each agency partner on a monthly basis.
- Communicate with agency partners on timelines and objectives to meet the expectations of the business need.
- Responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders for our commercial software products to keep projects moving and become a subject matter expert on our brand and marketing process.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Adept at the development of schedule, cost and risk management strategies
- Experience in implementing project management within various customer organizations and
- environments
- Identifies and recommends project management tools
- Proactively identifies risk, provides analysis and contingency planning
- Minimum of 7 years agency experience
- Minimum of 5 years project management experience
- Minimum of 5 years business/industry knowledge
- Minimum education is a Bachelors degree
This is a hybrid position. Candidates must be willing to work in Warren, Michigan 3 days per week.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $85-95K per year. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
