Business Analyst

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our client’s team. In this role, you will coordinate all areas of system testing, including preparation, execution, and installation support to ensure quality system changes. You will monitor and provide daily production, business, and system consultation and support to the client base, while resolving complex production problems. The ideal candidate will lead major complex projects, estimate project timelines, and resources for target implementation schedules, while ensuring all project aspects are handled efficiently.

Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system changes are in alignment with business needs. The role will require strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Testing & Support: Coordinate all areas of system testing, including preparation, execution, and installation support to assure quality system changes.
• Daily Production & Consultation: Provide daily production, business, and system consultation support to the assigned client base, and work on resolving production issues in complex systems.
• Project Management: Lead major complex projects, including estimating timelines, planning resources, and implementing target schedules.
• Documentation & Requirements Gathering: Work with Product Owners (POs) and Scrum teams to document business needs, ensuring clear and testable requirements are communicated.
• Sprint Planning & Prioritization: Collaborate with Product Owners to prepare stories for Scrum teams, help prioritize tasks for each sprint, and work ahead of the team to ensure smooth project execution.
• Backlog Management: Review and clean up the backlog, ensuring that only relevant stories are maintained. Partner with the PO to document initiatives, epics, and stories for future planning.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX design teams to facilitate data modeling, mapping, and workflow diagrams to improve the understanding of requirements and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 4-8 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, with a proven ability to lead complex projects.
• Skills & Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of system testing, business analysis, and project management.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and other project management software.
  • Experience with Scrum, Agile methodologies, and backlog management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to navigate complex business challenges.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • No C2C 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $64 to $69 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
