Merck Oncology will engage Aquent Studios to perform program management for the development and implementation of medical education content and assets created by various external resources including scientific agencies and thought leaders.
Dedicated Aquent Program Managers will assist the Pan Tumor Medical Education Science Lead within the brand team including but not limited to the following:

Perform function based on their expertise and the workload driven by the Pan Tumor Medical Education brand team. While managed by Aquent, the team will respond to the project needs and strategic direction of Merck. The Medical Education program manager will assist in the development, approval and release of promotional medical education tactics supporting one or more brand indications. These program managers will manage internal and external partners, agencies, and contributors in development of these resources primarily focused on peer-to-peer educational programs (e.g., symposia, lectures, videos, and peer discussion groups) for Healthcare Professional customers.

Ensure activities are in full compliance with appropriate regulations and policies and can effectively apply and articulate strategy and goals of the resource and assist in conversations with regulatory partners.

Project managing the workflow that supports Speaker Preparation (training) Agenda and content including obtaining Medical/Legal approval and support for relevant activities, including medical education core content and resources used in speaker preparation

Consult with Marketing teams on Med Ed content needs that are aligned to the strategic objectives

Manage external Med Ed agencies, Third Party vendors, and any other vendors associated with content development and maintenance

Supporting the end-to-end process of the creation, approval, and distribution of Merck Medical Forums and Medical Education promotional materials.

Manages new content creation with AoRs and select platform vendors (e.g., ON24, Jebbit, MNG, SmartCast)

Qualifications:
• BA/BS Degree or other advanced degree highly preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated multi-project management skills with an agile mindset
• Strong collaboration skills and proficient in building strong relationships; working in a team environment with multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors and maintains alignment to Merck compliance goals and policies
• Experience with sales, marketing or promotion development within pharmaceutical industry preferred
• Experience with vendor management preferred

Direct exposure to and understanding of the medical legal review process
Compensation Range: $85-95K
The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
