We require candidates based remotely on the East Coast of the USA for collaboration between Ireland and the West Coast.
Our client is seeking a Content Strategist III with 2+ years experience in web or tech content writing, working with CMS, and with strong communication skills. This contractor will support content requests to update or create help center content, email templates, or in-app chat response templates. In addition to this they may be flexed-in to support team initiatives such as content rewrites and optimizations, CMS improvements, or other initiatives as they arise. This contractor will interact with the team on a day-to-day basis for work allocation and to consult with SMEs for the work they are supporting. Execution of their work will be completed largely independently.
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, test and improve Help Center articles and customer support responses based on content strategy.
- Apply, maintain, and evangelize content standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with Operations, Product Management, Legal, Communications, Engineering, and other stakeholders to explain complicated product and policy concepts in simple, jargon-free language.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from the United States (or equivalent university degree from another country) in English or another relevant field
- 2+ years working in a technical writing or content strategy role
- Demonstrated ability to plan and write online help content and customer support responses for social media platforms and/or mobile apps
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Experience with content management systems (CMS)
- Experience with content analytics tools
- Experience with project management tools
