UX Designer

Overview

Immediate opening for a freelance UX Designer in Dearborn, Michigan. Must be able to work onsite 3 days per week. 

The UX Designer will design and plan story flow for executive level presentation, ensuring the story is compelling and would feature the digital experience in various scenarios

High-Fidelity Digital Design:

• Utilize and design within current design systems while being able to problem solve any design system gaps
• Clearly articulate ideas and vision with a variety of collaborators, welcoming feedback
• Move from design concept to a higher-fidelity screen designs that effectively communicate and meeting user needs
• Prioritize the various user needs and advocate for design excellence
• Define how users interact with various interfaces, like gesture controls, voice commands, touchscreens, etc.
• Structure information in a logical and intuitive manner
• Visually appealing designs

High-Fidelity Prototyping:

• Create high fidelity 3D and 2D graphics for digital interfaces
• Leverage motion graphics and animations in digital designs
• Create dynamic interactions that can be linked to physical / digital buttons in a buck
• Simulate digital experience in a buck with multiple displays that is immersive & engaging

DELIVERABLES:

• Opportunities – Recommendations for relevant market opportunities and for new design studies. This forecast can support future product strategies.
• Design Brief – New products are defined in terms of target group, product positioning and new features.
• Concept Visualization – Relevant design/style/products are identified and potential new design/style/products are defined.
• Second opinion – Get a second opinion or a outside view on special projects.
• The final delivery will be a buck, including digital screens and hardware to deliver the digital content
• Including an interactive screen and system to help communicate the experience
• Including the use of Figma and Protopie to create the visuals
• Including the graphic design

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60.00 to $75.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
