Visual/Motion Designer

Overview

Our client’s new AI-powered video creation app for work, it’s also our client’s first completely new application in 15 years. The app aims to empower everyone, regardless of their proficiency with existing video editing tools, to become a skilled visual storyteller. We’re looking for an energized, high-craft designer to join the UX team for our client’s newest editor with 7+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Create and edit video templates for use by our users and generative models
• Create comms design, animation specs, iconography and illustrations when needed
• Support marketing and help center content when needed
• Sync with the team for project needs and priorities
• Create and edit video templates based on user and feedback
• Support the team with any urgent needs related to templates

Experience:

• We’re looking for a designer with strong visual/motion design and video creation capabilities
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in visual and motion design, video editing, and video editing post production.
• 7+ years of experience working with UX Designers, Researchers, Engineers, and Product Managers, etc.
• Proficiency in After effects, Figma, Photoshop, and any other video editing tools
• Include a portfolio demonstrating command of visual/motion design, with a deep understanding of typography, color, prototype and visual storytelling.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $68 to $75 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
