Technical Writer

Overview

The purpose of this team is responsible for creating user and administrator content for the Viva suite of products, including how-tos, conceptual articles, and videos. They are currently working on integrating Copilot into their product, but need additional resources due to insufficient full-time employees to cover the workload.

Experience:

• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelors degree is required to be eligible for this role. Computer science, technical writing, UX, or English preferred, but any degree fulfills the requirement.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates with less than year left in tenure will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain Knowledge of GitHub and Markdown, as familiarity with these tools would be highly beneficial .
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on The percentage of content that they’re able to keep fresh and deadlines

Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:

• Minimum 5-7 years experience with Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills .
• Minimum 5-7 years experience with Experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience .
• Minimum 5-7 years experience with Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50 to $54 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
