This is a remote role, but candidates in the Pacific Time Zone are highly preferred. 

The Partner Manager manages global external vendor partners: providing account level oversight and serving as the principal point of contact for vendor operations, focused on delivering high quality, on-time services that deliver value to the business.

This person will manage vendors in business process outsourcing. (NOT PROCUREMENT  OR CREATIVE PARTNER VENDORS) 

They are responsible for building and maintaining operational frameworks to:

  • Facilitate the expansion of scope & volume of outsourced workflows
  • Continually improve operational efficiencies
  • Establish & maintain performance quality benchmarks
  • Mitigate & manage risks to business continuity

Internally, you will partner closely with operations, fulfillment, and other vendor management teams to drive efficiency, scale, and excellence within our managed workflow ecosystem through externalized resourcing solutions. Externally you will partner with vendors to help them consistently meet our evolving scale and scope ofwork and their KPIs.
Desired Background:

  • Senior-level project & program management experience either in streaming companies, or meta companies such as Google, Meta who have managed operations vendors.
  • Vendor management experience with a proven ability to set expectations and hold vendors accountable to KPIs.
  • Proven experience leading complex programs and long-term projects across a diverse set of cross-functional teams with multiple dependencies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to distill necessary information to cross-functional partners and drive adoption of new workflows.
  • Can absorb and distill complex subjects into simple, relatable terms for non-expert audiences.
  • Data-informed approach to problem-solving and analysis with experience pulling and visualizing applicable datasets from complex underlying data structures. You use these signals to consistently improve/innovate.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor resources, providing account level oversight and management on behalf of all internal partners & stakeholders
  • Develop, implement and manage the account level strategy
  • Maintain regular account level and operational syncs
  • Conduct regular site visits and lead business reviews
  • Drive adoption of and compliance with frameworks and shared best practices (i.e. quality assurance, business continuity planning, access & security, etc.) to continuously optimize for quality, timeliness, and cost
  • Continuously reevaluate the value proposition of managed vendors and be able to effectively represent back to internal partners & stakeholders
  • Ensure vendor capacity & skill sets can support evolving business requirements, including the drafting of RFPs and SOWs
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and partner teams to facilitate the effective & efficient onboarding of new workstreams to vendors, including helping to define technical solution and data visualization requirements
  • Drive vendor adherence to program KPIs on behalf of partners & stakeholders, while providing visibility back to the business and intercede when necessary to lead account level interventions & performance improvement initiatives

Ideal candidates are:

  • Folks that have worked at Netflix
  • Internal Ops type people
  • Former Project and Program Managers 
  • PROGRAM MANAGERS – Launching titles experience, Ops workflows for launching titles
  • Someone who has sat on an internal vendor management team, or has been part of Ops
  • Someone who understands the PMR space really well 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $90 to $100 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
