Our top education client is seeking a super talented Email Designer with HTML coding skills!  This will be a part time project based role depending on the client’s needs.  You will assist with all aspects of designing communications to targeted audiences, but primarily in the design, build and coding of HTML emails.

A PORTFOLIO OF RELEVANT WORK IS REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION

What you’ll do
• Primarily design, build and format HTML emails
• Assist with creation of event marketing promotions for admission events including open houses, transfer days, accepted student days or programs and info sessions
• Aid in the creation of marketing campaigns to various audiences, including first time freshman, transfer and graduate students, alumni, current students, faculty, staff, etc
• Design materials included in campaigns – primarily this will be be emails. But there may also be corresponding promotional materials such as post cards, brochures, presentations, digital ads, etc.
• Collaborate with other campaign managers and key constituents within the University to keep campaigns updated, relevant and fresh
• Ability to create basic animations/gifs using Photoshop and/or After Effects is a plus (more advanced animation ability is also welcome)
• Ability to build and maintain website pages using a Content Management System (CMS) is a plus
• Ability to edit video in Adobe Premiere (or using similar software) is a plus
• Performs other duties/projects as assigned

Organizational/Managerial
• Maintains confidentiality in the management of information
• Manages time and other resources to meet established short and long term goals within the agreed upon time frames
• Demonstrates flexibility in the acceptance and completion of work assignments
• Complies with policies and procedures of the Department and the University including but not limited to the University’s Code of Conduct
• Identifies and reports gaps in policies, procedures and assignments to management
• Complies with all required training

What you’ll bring
• 2-5 years of marketing and communication experience, especially email marketing
• Expertise of HTML/CSS
• Expertise of Adobe Suite programs: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
• Experience with a CRM is a plus
• Basic video editing skills is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $30.00 to $40.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
