Our Financial client is seeking a skilled Social Media Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping their online presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media analytics and a passion for uncovering valuable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize meltwater or a similar platform to analyze our online conversations, brand mentions, and sentiment.
  • Identify key audience segments, their preferences, and behaviors to inform our content strategy.
  • Monitor our competitors’ social media presence to understand their strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Create compelling, executive-level presentations, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in using social listening tools to gather and analyze data.
  • Experience with Meltwater (Preferred): Familiarity with the meltwater platform or similar social listening tools.
  • Strong understanding of Boolean logic: Ability to construct effective search queries to retrieve relevant data.
  • Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and extracting meaningful insights.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Meticulous approach to data collection and analysis.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

  • Experience in content strategy or marketing
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30 – $35/Hourly (W2). Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
