Role Overview
As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will play a critical role in building and optimizing the backbone of software applications. You will primarily focus on designing, developing, and maintaining back-end systems, ensuring seamless integration with third-party services, and continuously enhancing the solutions’ performance and scalability.  You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality products. Your ability to communicate technical concepts effectively will be key as you help shape the future of the development efforts.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, test, and maintain robust back-end services using .NET technologies and SQL databases.
  • Design and implement scalable solutions to integrate with third-party APIs (RESTful API experience is a plus).
  • Lead efforts to modernize and re-architect legacy systems, with a focus on improving performance and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, dev, QA) to ensure smooth delivery of features and functionality.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and codebase improvements that enhance scalability and security.
  • Take ownership of backend solutions, including reporting and database structure design, focusing on rolling out business intelligence platforms.

 

What You Will Bring

Must-Haves:

  • U.S. citizen or Green Card holder (required)
  • Expertise in Microsoft .NET tech stack, particularly C# and SQL Server
  • Proven track record of back-end development, delivering high-performance solutions in production environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

  • API integration experience, particularly with RESTful services
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
  • Exposure to telephony systems or related industries

Educational requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not required based on experience).

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $55 to $60/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
