Location: Edmonds/Bellevue, WA (Hybrid) / Salary: 80K – 90K

Our agency, specializing in multicultural marketing and community engagement, is looking for a Project Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring client projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to contract specifications. This role collaborates cross departmentally by providing the necessary resources, information, and materials to meet project goals; ensuring client and team satisfaction, while fostering retention and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and consulting partners.

  • Collaborate with project management and project teams to meet client requirements on time and within budget.

  • Manage project scope and budget using PM tools (Scoro or similar)

  • Develop and maintain project work plans, timelines, and task delegation.

  • Ensure project teams have the resources needed to meet deliverables.

  • Oversee creative, campaign, communication, and community engagement strategies.

  • Draft and manage public communications.

  • Lead project meetings and maintain effective client communication.

  • Anticipate client needs and proactively provide solutions.

  • Ensure the timely delivery of quality work to support account growth and retention.

  • Manage project paperwork, approve vendor payments, and review monthly invoices.

  • Provide weekly and monthly project updates to both clients and internal teams.

  • Occasionally set up and staff project events.

  • Travel occasionally to project sites, client locations, or alternative work locations.

Education and Experience:

  • BA in Community, Environment & Planning, Urban Design & Planning, Communications, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or a similar role.

  • Experience working with public agencies, preferably the City of Seattle, King County, State of Washington, or local municipalities.

  • Experience leading public engagement projects across various sectors such as health, transportation, construction, retail, public policy, or education.

  • Familiarity with public relations or communications agency work.

  • Proven experience managing project scopes and budgets.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in accessible language.

  • Proven ability to manage timelines, schedules, and action items in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to create and interpret work plans that comply with contract terms.

  • Effective prioritization and multitasking skills.

  • Professional, outgoing, and collaborative team player.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and delegate tasks effectively.

  • Experience working with diverse communities and fostering inclusive communication.

  • Cultural competence and the ability to build trusted relationships with underserved communities.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Hubspot, project management software (Scoro), and Miro is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and interact with all levels of an organization.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to balance multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Access to reliable transportation and appropriate liability insurance.
