Our NYC-based financial services client needs a long-term experienced multi-disciplinary PPT Presentation Specialist with heavy Excel knowledge, to help them with high-level PowerPoint presentations, and all that goes into them. Must have experience in PowerPoint/Excel.

The Presentation Specialist is responsible for creating and editing high-quality PowerPoint presentations, and Word documents, graphing Excel charts, and other general desktop publishing duties. Project work will range across a wide breadth of channels such as Portrait, Landscape, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the senior specialists with workflow, to initial shell creation or initial conversion or edits. 
  • Collaborate with the Senior Presentation Specialist and the Traffic Coordinators to execute top-quality presentation design in line with the approved structure of the client’s brand.
  • Maintain the overall quality and consistency of work from acceptance through handoff of requests and participation in cross-team collaboration and communications. 
  •  Work quickly, efficiently, and communicate regularly about the specific challenges on a variety of jobs to the other members of the teams and across departmental siloes
  • Communicate with the Traffic Coordinators to find the best deliverable for a client’s request
  • Actively assist in file management for clients working directly with upper management
  • Work regularly with the graphics and/or media team to execute and problem-solve jobs that incorporate heavy graphics/multimedia elements
  •  Develop, maintain, and manage the Publishing & Creative Services logo library and maps
  •  Move high-end graphics, usually created in InDesign, into firmwide user-friendly platforms such as Word and PowerPoint
  •  Follow all accepted and approved policies and procedures for day-to-day activity as assigned by management
  •  Be proactive participants in process and team meetings

  •  Advanced Powerpoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel Skills

  • Quality Control

Software / Tools Requirements

  • Microsoft Office (Expert Word, PPT, and Excel)
  •  Adobe Acrobat Pro

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35 to $38 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
