Our client’s Marketplace Seller Education team is seeking an experienced copywriter to join our scrappy, startup culture and environment but with the resources of the Fortune #1 company.

 

  • This is a hybrid role but there is no firm requirement for in-office work at this time, but we would prefer candidates in the San Bruno/Sunnyvale area so they can attend in-person sessions as-needed.

 

  • The main project/initiative this role will work on Marketing Place Learning, drafting seller education how-to-guides, knowledge base articles, and documentation.

 

In this role, you’ll heavily edit and produce written content for our eLearning content library that consists of 500+ guides and tutorials. It’ll be your job to make sure the content is accurate, engaging, and informative. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, excellent writing and editing skills and have experience writing marketing copy and instructional content.

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll already be familiar with writing in this format, can handle working on several projects at once, are comfortable working as an individual contributor and working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in an eLearning or product marketing copywriting role

  • Experience in tech, eCommerce, or SaaS industries

  • Bachelor’s degree in an associated field or equivalent experience

  • A portfolio of writing projects

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience writing help documentation

  • Exceptional grammar, writing and editing skills

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly for multiple audiences using either formal or more casual tones

  • Experience working collaboratively with project stakeholders and designers

  • Proven ability to master and learn processes and platforms quickly

  • Self-starter who has a passion for processes and technical tools

  • Collaborative work ethic as partnership with stakeholders at all levels is key

  • Ability to move fast, in an often ambiguous and fluid environment

  • Experience with Contentstack CMS is preferred

  • Experience with project management tools including Slack, Asana, JIRA, and Confluence

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $56.42 to $62.69 hourly. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
