This is a remote role with the client based out of Redmond, WA.

Pay Range:$48.67/hr to $54.08/hr

Our client is looking for a Program Manager. The Program Manager will manage the release process of the preview product, including meeting internal release requirements, tracking milestones and dependencies to be delivered on schedule, contributing to the product launch documentation.

Program Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops, tracks and manages product release plans, timelines and scope. Documents the process, tracks it in Azure DevOps, attends APEX office hours to get guidance, and monitors the tasks in Service 360 tool.
  • Plans out product release requirement milestones based on target ship timeline.
  • Works with various internal teams to clarify each release requirement and dependencies for the product.
  • Collaborates with product engineering team to drive the process of meeting each requirement on time.
  • Contributes to the documentation of the product and acts as a technical advisor to educate and evangelize the product.
  • Helps develop the staging and implementation plan for release in alignment with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for AOPC product.

Program Manager Skills / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience in project management, particularly cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience releasing product.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
  • These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Client’s Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Client’s Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration skills & situational awareness

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with software DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and techniques.
  • Good experience of engineering practices and engaging engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with remote sensing data and their use and application within enterprises.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48.67/hr to $54.08/hr.
