ACD, Art (Brand Studio, Design)

 

The opportunity:

 

We’re looking for an experienced Associate Creative Director on the Aquent Studios x Adobe team who will support always-on and seasonal campaign creative with a focus on the design segment, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign.
 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Collaborate with partners within the Studio, Marketing Program Managers (MPgM), Lifecycle Marketing (LCM aka Email Marketing), Performance Media, Brand, and Social teams to develop the overall creative strategy. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to inform new projects.

  • Help design the marketing journey and make sure it is a cohesive visual experience from a content and brand standpoint.

  • Demonstrate expert working knowledge and a complete understanding of the product or segment (in this the design segment focusing on Adobe Illustrator and InDesign).

  • Oversee the work of designers as needed and external agencies to execute against strategy, and review and provide guidance and clarity to teams and agencies.

  • Is comfortable giving feedback on copy when it comes to overall creative strategy.

  • Coordinate multiple projects to completion on deadline.

  • Work across a wide range of platforms and technologies.

  • Brainstorm and convey design ideas via sketches, storyboards, mood boards.

  • Creative direct animation and motion experiences.

  • Build production ready files and be well versed in the technical and tea· m structure process.

 

What you need to succeed:

 

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Knowledge and problem-solving skills around design elements, such as color, typography, and composition to convey meaning is essential. To craft good design that solves business challenges, strong problem-solving skills are needed. Deep knowledge of design system principles.

  • Technical proficiency with programs like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma. Knowledge of video or animation tools is a plus, along with any experience in creating animated gifs. A general interest in computers and an aptitude for learning new technology are vital.

  • The ability to effectively present ideas—both verbally and visually. Pitch ideas to internal clients and stakeholders when needed and explain the rationale behind design decisions.

  • Brand expertise. The Adobe brand is recognized and respected around the world. Maintaining its integrity depends on having a clear understanding of Adobe brand guidelines and adhering to them in all creative work.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation communication skills.

  • Be a mentor and motivator and encourage collaboration within the team. Be helpful and willing to answer questions.

  • Experience in development and delivery of marketing releases of new technology or
    major innovations.

  • Promotes the organization and team’s mission and goals internally and externally.

Other Requirements

Compensation range: between $65 – 70 hrly (DOE)
