Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is supporting products associated with health and life sciences. The team is currently working on integrating an AI sidecar into a product used by radiologists to dictate findings from imaging scans such as X-rays, CT scans, etc. to make use of the product easier and simplify usage for the radiologist.
• Key projects: This role will contribute to the integration of an AI sidecar into the product mentioned above, working on both the front and back end of the product with a slight focus on front end. The front end is built in typescript and javascript, while the back end is built in .NET.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of a daily Scrum meeting in the morning to review objectives in Azure DevOps, then spend the majority of their time writing code including writing unit tests and possibly integration tests, working with other front and/or back end engineers as well as designers. The role will interface with some other internal teams but will not be working with external teams.

Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 10+ overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: A bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required to be eligible for this role.
• Disqualifiers: None
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experience working for a large engineering corporations. The ideal candidate understands building things at scale in addition to moving fast, has a strong understanding of data structures and why decisions are made, and has previous experience working both front end and back end.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and deadlines.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Minimum 8 years experience with Typescript and Javascript
2. Minimum 8 years experience with React JS and .NET
3. Minimum 8 years experience with both front and back end (fullstack).

Hard Skills Assessments
• Expected Dates that Hard Skills Assessments will be scheduled: week of 6/10 through mid-June
• Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will include 3 rounds, each 45-60 minutes long asking design and coding questions: The first round will dive deep into data structures, the second will be more tech specific using the tools like react, final round with engineering manager and product manager understanding how they organize and execute technical processes.
• Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should be prepared to discuss the above prior to the assessment.

Summary:
The main function of the Full-Stack Engineer is to design and develop applications across a combination of web and services.

Job Responsibilities:
• Design and develop web front-end experiences using ReactJS and Typescript.
• Implement front-end unit tests Works within code standards and provides code reviews.
• Design and develop back-end services using GraphQL and C#.
• Reviews specifications and provides time estimates on the development of projects and features.
• Prioritizes projects and deliverables.

Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field required
• 8+ years experience

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $60.18 to $66.87 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
