Job Description: UX Designer – Adobe.com Experience
The Challenge:
The Adobe.com experience design team is seeking a User Experience Designer to work on our virtual events platform. The Adobe.com team has pioneered all new digital event experiences with Adobe MAX and Adobe Summit, extending our reach and engaging millions of people around the world. We’re looking for someone who is able to look at the big picture from a user experience, technology and business standpoint, and is unafraid to step outside the box to deliver engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate should also possess strong strategic, creative and planning skills that enable them to effectively communicate, influence and drive design solutions into the platform.
What you’ll do:
• Collaborate with the Lead UX Designer, Adobe.com, to create exceptional user
experiences on projects and initiatives.
• Create user experience flows, site maps, wireframes, prototypes that align with product
goals and milestones.
• Partner with multiple stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, organizational
leaders, user research, and other designers, in drafting & brainstorming concepts.
• Coordinate multiple projects to completion.
• Create iterative designs that meet product objectives, fit within Adobe.com design
guidelines, and respond to feedback and usability testing.
• Convey design ideas via sketches, storyboards, user flows, wireframes and prototypes.
• Work across a wide range of projects, technologies and devices.
• Support development teams throughout the implementation cycle.
What you need to succeed:
• A proven track record and portfolio of great experience design and strategy that meet
user needs, product requirements, and business goals.
• 3-5+ years of experience working in the field of user experience.
• A degree in a design-related field (HCI, interaction, visual) or comparable experience.
• Deep knowledge of UX/UI patterns and principles. Strengths in user-interface design is preferred.
• Experience designing for SaaS products.
• Skilled in Figma and Adobe design products such as XD, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Drive and passion to improving user experience and usability of complex problems.
• Ability to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design
process, and effectively produce multiple highly polished and professional finished works
under tight timelines.
• Experience creating innovative digital interface design solutions for the web, desktop
applications and/or mobile and hand-held devices.
• Comfort in designing and running user testing and other qualitative customer validation.
• Strong interpersonal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to contribute to the creative spirit of the Adobe.com experience
design team and Adobe overall. Meticulous, curious, open to exploration is a must.
