Our apparel consumer client is looking for an Operations Manager to lead both executional and strategic projects within the Global Digital Content and Design (GDCD) team.

This is a ful time hybrid role in Boston, MA.

This candidate is a natural leader, with a positive and collaborative attitude, an entrepreneurial mindset who takes initiative and is eager to create and instill operational excellence for the team. The work will be challenging, never boring, and will be an integral part of the creative team bringing new digital experiences and solutions to the brand.

This candidate should have a passion for the brand and unbending rigor for creating and implementing processes to enable high-quality work. Someone who thrives in the digital landscape and understands the ins and outs of paid media and integrated marketing campaigns. We’re looking for someone who can get into the nitty gritty of executional work but also see the big picture and help create and document new workflows and ways of working.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Lead global design and copy sprint workflow and execution
  • Resource allocation tracking and planning
  • Project management of seasonal visual design system and narrative framework creation
  • Assist with updates and governance of online Standards and Guidelines/Onboarding portal
  • Document new processes and best practices as needed
  • Understand the vision and strategy of team at a macro level and be able to implement micro level projects to execute against that strategy
  • Always be looking for ways to find efficiencies and better ways to working
  • Operational excellence always: ensure you deliver high quality work, on time and on budget 100% of the time
  • Lead and facilitate all design processes, ensuring they add value and meet established goals.
  • Initiate changes in process or organizational structure as necessary to ensure excellence in design outcome, design process, and design leadership.
  • Focus on workload management, calendar, design tools (images, samples, color, etc.), budgeting, resource alignment, and strategic planning.
  • Champion group design efforts, maintaining relationships with internal divisions groups and outside groups where collaborative relationships benefits the brand, product, and creative process (e.g. Commercialization, Merchandising, Footwear).
  • Creates and manages a design resource plan to ensure all design needs are covered with either the appropriate internal or external talent.
  • Collaborate with Design Leadership Team to establish and communicate design processes and monitor seasonal progress.
  • Project Management – Oversees seasonal workload by assigning projects to design staff and outside contractors as needed.
  • Provides experiences and training that maintains highest level of competency among designers.
  • Influences project direction by acting as integral part of design team.
  • Mentors others by sharing business and design expertise.
  • Systems – Identify and articulate strategic design department needs to the systems groups.
  • Act as the liaison between the design department and IT on systems-related issues.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant computer systems and applications.
  • Make systems recommendations to enhance processes and design execution.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As the Global Digital Operations Manager, you will work with the team of Designers, Copywriters, Operations Mangers, UX, and Experience Strategists. You will partner closely with teams across the Digital Organization, Brand Management, and Geography teams, to deliver creative experiences that support digital business goals. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Global Digital Creative Operations.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-8 years relevant work experience
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with various cross-functional stakeholders, and reliably meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of project management tools like Asana, Slack, MS Office, Figma, Box
  • Experience with resource management and capacity tracking
  • 2-3 years of experience with paid media including paid social and online video/motion
  • Proven success in data-driven strategic thinking and process optimization
  • Outstanding team player and positive attitude
  • Must be a self-starter, thrives working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, organized, detail oriented, collaborative, and flexible
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • A genuine passion for digital marketing and the online space with a strong knowledge of digital commerce, performance marketing (email, paid social and other media), A/B testing, and UX.
  • A connection to streetwear culture and a natural passion for keeping up with the latest market trends
