Our client is looking for an experienced communications/public relations professional who can support a broad range of internal and external requests. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker and problem solver, able to spot gaps in communication materials. Reporting to the corporate communication team, this individual will serve as a liaison with various teams to align communication efforts across teams while ensuring employees feel supported as their workplace evolves.

Purpose of the Team – The team provides communications support for a large enterprise company, particularly in marketing communications.

Key projects – This role will manage corporate communications for a global workplace services team, support leadership to help track projects, resolve intake communications issues, help connect dots between stakeholders, serve as a liaison to various meetings, start strategy documents, and support mitigations response.

Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm – A typical day will vary frequently, as the role will largely provide ad hoc support based on needs related to real estate facilities and global security teams. The position will help with a variety of things and will work closely on refreshing material, creating content, taking some meetings, etc.

What makes this role interesting? – This position will touch on themes that are really important including sustainability, accessibility, civic partnership, future of work and how employees use workspaces, etc.

Requirements

  • Years of Experience Required – 8-10 years of experience.
  • Degrees or certifications required – A bachelors degree in a related major is required for this position.
  • Disqualifiers – Candidates must have experience with tech companies, experience with high level stakeholders, and the ability to be proactive/be a self-starter.
  • Best vs. Average – The Ideal candidate has agency experience and touched many different areas in communications such as communications with: employees, leadership, external media, etc. and has prior experience at large enterprise technology companies. savvier in setting up internal policies and with an understanding of how they might be seen externally.
    • Previous experience supporting real estate communications, supporting comms for CBRE or similar commercial/enterprise real estate services, or someone who managed all regional comms (sports arena, port/airport/etc.,) would be a big plus!
  • Performance Indicators – Performance will be measured on a project based scale, based on the quality of the candidates communications and meeting deadlines.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. 8+ years with Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Issues Management, PR Agency, or equivalent experience.
2. 8+ years in client services industry or equivalent experience.
3. 8+ years of exceptional project management skills, with heightened attention to detail.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50 to $53/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
