Senior Visual Designer

Overview

As a Senior Visual Designer, on our client’s team you bring a demonstrated ability to develop and build compelling and world-class visual strategy. We’re looking for a creative problem solver who can think strategically but is also a maker. While they work in a highly collaborative environment, they are looking for someone who can also work independently, self-manage, and find ways and means to support our goals.

• **You will be working with the Communication & Marketing Team as well as Shared Services to support various programs.**
• **You will be helping to expand on the client’s visual brand system**
• This is a fully remote role, 40 hours per week through Mid-December 2024 + extension 
• Seeking EST/MT Located Candidates for this role. 

What you’ll do:

• Work hands-on in the development of brand iconography/illustrations, color palette exploration, creation of a photography bank, and application of visual identity components across digital and print channels.
• Concept, iterate, and implement branding and visual direction for across a range of cross-channel experiences.
• Help grow the brand visual identity system to ensure it meets the growing organizational and user needs.
• Lead the ideation and design of projects from start to finish within a team of designers.
• Work hands-on within a fast-paced iterative design environment.
• Coordinate with project management and Creative team to ensure timely delivery of design artifacts.
• Help foster an environment for collaboration by partnering with business and other creative units to align visual design approach with project goals, and the client.

About you:

• 5+ years hands-on experience in design for agency or in-house team
• Experience working with brand level design systems (examples of this work will be required to be submittted) 
• Must have a solid understanding of design system elements: icons, fonts, photography, color, templates (print, digital), asset management, etc
• Advanced understanding of hierarchy, typography, aesthetics, illustration, photography, and composition.
• Deeply versed in AdobeCS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma
• Bonus Points = experience in motion design (After Effects)
• Pixel perfect attention to detail.
• Appetite for problem solving and a love for fast-paced environments.
• Sharp design sensibilities, critical thinking, and an eye for details.
• You have a solid understanding of UI design principles and best practices
• Experience in designing for accessibility.

**The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $54 to $60 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.  Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.**
