Our client is seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to join their innovative team. The primary function of this role is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of software and systems that enable computers to function effectively. This includes the development and testing of operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software tailored to various sectors such as medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Modify existing databases and database management systems.
  • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system, or direct others in coding descriptions.
  • Collaborate as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
  • Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.

Required Skills:

  • Development experience in a .NET environment using Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.
  • DevOps experience with ADO build systems, CI/CD pipelines, deployments.
  • Experience writing automated tests using .NET unit testing tools.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud technologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SDK development, generating SDKs using Kiota.
  • Knowledge of AAD authentication and OAuth integrations.
  • Familiarity with working on Substrates.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Understanding of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing, and delivery.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve the issue.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $50.96 to $56.62 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
