We are seeking a detail-oriented Website Project Manager to oversee the daily management of our clients website during a crucial transition period. This role involves coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and the successful implementation of a new content management system (CMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the transition to a new CMS, ensuring that all phases of the project are executed efficiently.
  • Content Management: Maintain current operations on our existing CMS, managing content updates, translations, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for changes and updates needed on the website. Collaborate with engineering managers, designers, and external agencies to schedule and prioritize work.
  • Translation Management: Handle the logistics of website translation needs, including interfacing with translation agencies and integrating content back into the CMS.
  • Backlog Management: Develop and manage a backlog of updates, prioritize critical content updates, and assist with content strategy planning post-CMS migration.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Keep track of project progress and provide updates to internal teams and stakeholders about status, timelines, and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven background in project management, particularly with websites and digital platforms. Prior experience with CMS, preferably with exposure to complex migrations.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and coordination skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira, and basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms. Experience working with Azure is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Background: Ideal candidates may come from a marketing agency or similar environment where they have managed website production and content development.

Additional Information:

  • The position is fully remote, with team members primarily based on the East Coast and in San Francisco.
  • The successful candidate will be required to sign an NDA.
