SR Designer

Overview

Our client, America’s number one pet provider is looking for an amazing designer to join their studios team hybrid in Plantation Florida! This position is a net-new position on the Studio Social & Programmatic Scrum Team. This is an in-
person role and will be based at corporate HQ in Plantation, FL.
This Sr. Designer must have a strong background in social media content creation and digital design of
static and motion assets for social. The Sr. Designer will serve as a core member of our Social and
Programmatic marketing team, responsible for elevating the visual creative expression of our social
media including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and performance marketing channels. Their primary
responsibility is to partner with S&P Creative Director, Copywriter, and Content Directors to collaborate
on a variety of conceptual executions that include leading creative brainstorms, visual design
development, and creating concept and/or story boards that bring to life new social video concepts and
campaigns.
The best candidate for this position is comfortable working cross-functionally across all phases of video
production, including working with Studio Production, Creative and Design partners. The candidate must
also have an ability to apply visual identity systems across a variety of social assets, bring brand
uniformity to videos across multiple touchpoints, and communicate their ideas/vision to team members
and partners with clarity and conviction.
This role reports to Creative Director, Social & Programmatic.
The candidate should demonstrate to this panel the ability to:
 Contribute to all phases of video production – from conceptual development to asset and
content creation, including live-action, photo, editing, motion graphics and 2D animation.
 Communicate concepts and stories with concept boards, story boards, and pitch decks inclusive
of illustrations, graphic design, and typography.
 Lead or advise on social art direction, graphic/motion-design, and 2D animation while upholding
brand and design standards.
 Inspire and deliver work that is comprehensively conceived, meticulously executed and
platform/channel appropriate.
 Instinctually see challenges before they arise, troubleshoot, and pivot as needed to solve
creative challenges.
 Establish, grow and nurture strong, effective partnerships amongst cross-functional teams.
 Consistently deliver work that surprises, delights, and engages our audiences while having fun
doing it every day.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $45 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
