Our client has aggressively embraced the digital era and has advanced many leading consumer-facing digital solutions across its business units.  As we prepare to further accelerate our R&I transformation through digital initiatives, we seek a motivated scrum master who is detail-driven, an excellent problem solver, and has a business analysis background. Someone who wants to work in a fast paced, highly matrixed, globally dispersed team setting. As a Scrum Master, you will provide servant leadership and assist the development teams to communicate, track progress, eliminate impediments and continue to mature and progress as agile teams. You will also work closely with cross functional technical teams, product owners, business stake holders and third parties. You will keep the team focused on delivering what has been planned during the sprint, unblocking issues, and driving velocity improvement. You will also facilitate iteration (sprint) planning and grooming, lead work within individual sprints.

Responsibilities:
Ensure all aspects of assigned project/product delivery is scoped, planned, tracked, and managed to completion.
Lead collaborative discussion, decision making, and problem solving.
Implement Agile processes (Scrum) and procedures and ensure teams are working in the scrum/sprint model effectively.
Coordinate and encourage participation from all team members in scrum ceremonies (Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective)
Proactively eliminate barriers, coach team members on best practices and facilitate scrum ceremonies.
Provide facilitation and communication for the development teams
Act as a servant leader, coach and mentor in agile mindset and methodologies
Identify and distribute key metrics and KPIs for process improvements (CFD, Burndown/up, Velocity, Story Points, Defects) and implement incremental process improvements as teams mature

Experience:
5-10 years of IT or Scientific experience with 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master / Agile Coach role
Working with Scientists background is desired
Scrum Certification is desired with proven experience utilizing agile mindset
Experience utilizing SNOW and Confluence in an agile environment required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills, work ethic, problem solving ability and over-all positive attitude
Ability to step into any situation and lead the customer and 3rd party partners to the best solution based on needs and best practices
Knowledge of order management, payment process, fulfillment, and other eCommerce downstream systems

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $65 to $71 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
