Space Planning/Drafter

Overview

Our client, an innovative leader in the tech industry, is seeking an experienced Space Planning Designer with logistical skills and practical experience to strengthen our growing team supporting the Creative Team of the Events Studios & Communities, to help deliver world class projects related to events.

The ideal environmental designer will have space planning experience for expos or exhibitions that include breakouts or keynotes. They must also have good presentation compilation skills, some excel spreadsheet work with attendee counts, CAD use, preferably Sketchup or AutoCAD. We also require proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and PowerPoint.

Roles & Responsibilities:
* Lead and drive environment design projects from brief to delivery.
* Coordinate effectively and efficiently with the event team stakeholders and other vendors relying on environment plans.
* Create 2D and 3D designs to illustrate concepts.
* Present and defend concept designs in a profession manner.
* Attend production meetings for each assigned project.
* Other duties as assigned.

Experience
* 3+ years of experience in event design 

* Outstanding portfolio of work.
* Knowledge of Excel
* CAD use, preferably Sketchup or AutoCAD.
* Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and PowerPoint
* 3D design and sketching skills

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $50/hr – $60/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
