Project Coordinator with In-House Creative Agency

Do you love the hustle and bustle of a creative agency environment, but ready for some work-life balance? Bring your expertise in creative services project coordination to a growing in-house team with a global Fortune 500 company (top 30) in the Seattle area. This is your chance to help build a stronger account-focused organization that delivers impactful, innovative, and creative communications for the entire enterprise. Gain exposure to a broad range of company wide and international campaigns ranging from environmental initiatives, global branding, sponsorships, trade shows, internal employee campaigns, and more! (**Please note that while the title is "Project Coordinator," this is not an entry or junior level role.)

Start Date: As soon as the right candidate is found
Location: Onsite at our client's office in Tukwila
Duration: 6 months with potential to extend
Hours: 40 per week
Type: Contract; W2 through Aquent

-Manage interactions with internal clients for simple to complex projects.
-Manage projects hand-in-hand with the key account manager; may serve as his or her backup.
-Seek opportunities to provide tactical and strategic input that improves team cohesion, collaboration, and the ability to achieve goals.
-Manage the execution of simple and complex projects through delivery.
-Create estimates and detailed schedules and document and communicate any scope change; obtain client approval as needed.
-Monitor and report on the workload of individual team members and of the team as a whole.
-Ensure that creative briefs, estimates, project plans, schedules, and budgets are complete.
-Track and report on actual to-date expenditures against estimates.
-Evolve the traffic and project coordination process to meet internal client and team needs.
-Enforce adherence to workflow processes and deadlines.
-Lead lessons-learned team meetings and drive improvements to the process at the team level, across a region, and organizationally.
-Mentor associate project coordinators.

-Experience as a project coordinator in a creative environment—agency or in-house agency—creating estimates, managing project schedules, working with creative professionals on project execution and delivery.
-Experience mentoring less experienced personnel highly preferred.
-Must be
• Able to communicate clearly orally and in writing.
• Extremely detailed oriented.
• Collaborative and have excellent people skills to work with internal clients and creative professionals.
• Committed to providing exceptional customer service.
• Able to identify opportunities for process improvement.
-Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and be able to rank competing priorities and work under pressure.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.
-Basic knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop a plus.
-An associate or bachelor’s degree.
-PMP certification highly preferred.
