Are you an Interactive Designer?? Do you like the fast-paced agency world but prefer the stability of a corporate setting? If so, then let’s talk! As a member of this client's Marketing & Communications team, you’ll work closely with our senior designer to help drive our visual communications across multiple channels (primarily digital, but some print, merchandise, etc.) Current initiatives include website design using a responsive approach, e-marketing campaigns and more.
Responsibilities:
1) Contributes to branding and marketing projects through a broad variety of visual communications – from logos to websites, advertising to email newsletters, social media tools and more. 
2) Supports the development of new websites by creating site maps, wireframes and design concepts.
3) Collaborates with our in-house web developers to accurately transition design concepts by providing style sheets and themes, and supporting user acceptance testing and quality assurance.
4) Handles production efforts associated with printed collateral including providing job specifications, monitoring job traffic and attending on-site press checks when necessary.
5) Remains aware of emerging design trends, technologies and resources to ensure innovative practices.
6) Contributes to the Marketing and Communications team’s success by continuing to develop design expertise and capabilities.
 

Requirements: 
Proven self-starter with demonstrated ability to deliver compelling design solutions. 
Able to create wireframes and mock-ups to visually present website concepts to clients. Comfortable presenting designs to clients and working through feedback sessions and design refinements.
Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Understanding of user experience (UX), information architecture (IA), design patterns, accessibility, web standards and browser compatibility.
Familiarity with content management publishing platforms.
Excellent customer service skills; ability to communicate in both the business and technical environments and collaborate with other designers and third-party vendors.
Experience with video editing a plus.
 

Education and Experience:
B.A. or B.F.A. with a design focus. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of web design experience in a corporate or agency setting. Please include links to online portfolios with your resume.
